I fight off your existence
Tip-toeing in my head.
I drown you out with distractions
But somehow you’re alive.

I want to release all thoughts of you

When I read these words, I thought it referred specifically to grief for bereavement but then I thought, it could mean for any sort of trouble. I like this poem
